Allama Raja Nasir warns of stiff protest if illegally arrested Shias not released

Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, secretary general of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, has warned the powers that be that his party would launch stiff protest campaign if the illegally arrested Shia Muslims are not released forthwith.

He made this warning in his telephonic address to a congregation (Azmat-e-Ali wa Zahra Conference) of his party in district Khairpur (Sindh) that was held to mark the birth anniversary of Hazrat Imam Ali (AS). Thousands of supporters attended.
MWM chief denounced the authorities for enforced disappearance of innocent Shia Muslims. He said that Shiites were illegally arrested, detained and subjected to severe inhuman torture and they were denied their right to defend them in the courts of law where they are not produced because of no case against them. He said it was illegal and inhuman to detain and torture innocent Shiites of Pakistan.
He said that MWM could register protest outside the Parliament House and for that consultation with other political parties could be made.
Allama Haider Ali Javadi, Allama Mukhtar Imami and Allama Maqsood Domki, Maulana Nishan Haider Sajidi, Maulana Naqi Hyderi, Maulana Samar Naqvi and other speakers also spoke at the celebrations.
