Birth anniversary of Imam Mohammad Taqi Javad celebrated

Shia Muslims of Pakistan celebrated the birth anniversary of Imam Mohammad Taqi al Javad (AS), the 9th infallible Imam of Shia Islam with religious fervour and reverence.

The mosques, Imam Bargahs, streets and houses were illuminated to mark the birth anniversary. Special prayers and congregations were held across Pakistan. Religious scholars highlighted the sacred life of the infallible leader of Islam in their sermons.
Felicitating the Muslims on the occasion, they urged them to follow the footprints of Imam Mohammad Taqi al Javad (AS) to uphold true teachings of Islam.
