Federal Minister Riaz Hussain Pirzada has implied that the ruling establishment of Pakistan was behind the prevailing insecurity because their policies encouraged and emboldened terrorists in Pakistan.

Without naming Wahhabi Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the minister said, (a particular brand of) Islam was imported to Pakistan in place of the Islam preached by Islamic saints here and dictation from the outside were implemented.
“I am shy of speaking so because I fear registration of an FIR and a fatwa of infidelity against me for (speaking truth),” he said speaking at a conference on Islamic mysticism in Islamabad.
He asked what else the ruling establishment had given to nation and its present generation. He said that bloodshed and insecurity have become order of the day today.
“Siraiki region of Punjab was a peaceful region where people never took weapons against each other but it was the misdeed of the establishment that terrorists stormed into our house and sprayed my faher and family members with volleys of bullets,” he said.
