Interior Minister says no place in Pakistan for terrorist outfits

Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan told the Senators at a discussion in the Senate yesterday that Pakistan does not have space for any terrorist organisation. He said after Operation Zarb-e-Azb there is no headquarter of any militant organisation in the country.

He called for collective efforts above party line and effective legislation to cleanse the society of terrorism.
“We should avoid politicking on national security. It is a shared responsibility and we should also share each other’s successes and failures,” he said winding up discussion on a motion in the Senate on national security.
The minister said, “Our successes by the time are only due to our collective efforts and shared responsibility and if we shall start playing politics on this issue, we may fail to achieve our goals.
Both the Houses of the Parliament and provincial governments should have to carry forward the agenda of eliminating terrorism.”
