Zardari invites MWM chief to APC on burning national issues

Pakistan People’s Party Parliamentarian chief and former President of Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari has invited Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, chief of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen yesterday.

On behalf of Zardari, his close-aide Abdul Qayoom Soomro and PPP’s stalwart Nayyar Bukhari visited the MWM’s central secretariat in Islamabad and extended invitation to Allama Jafari. After their meeting, they spoke at a joint press conference alongside Allama Raja Nasir. MWM’s chief said that he had accepted the invitation of Mr. Zardari.
Nayyar Bukhari said that all moderate political forces need to develop consensus on national issues and their unity was a dire need of the hours hence Mr. Zardari decided to gather all the parties at the All-Party Conference.
Allama Jafari said that terrorism was the most important and burning issue in Pakistan that need to be tackled on priority. He said that elimination of terrorist networks needed implementation of National Action Plan but the government failed to do so.
He said that APC was necessary to exert pressure on the PMLN government to take immediate practical and concrete steps to eliminate terrorism.
