JUIF chief Fazalur Rehman chides Pakistani state for terrorism
Fazalur Rehman, head of the Deobandi party JUIF, has blamed the Pakistani state for terrorism in the country.
“Religious (Deobandi) seminaries are being raided in search of single persons but there are terrorists who are being nourished under the feather of the State,” he said in an interview with a private news channel.
He said that Pakistani state was responsible for arming the pupils of (Deobandi) seminaries. He asked why these seminaries were used in Afghan jihad and if law had prevented to do so, why that decision was taken?
It is relevant to add here that a vast majority of Pakistanis including intelligentsia believe that Deobandi seminaries, Deobandi parties such as JUI and ASWJ are Pakistani Taliban and they are responsible for ongoing terrorist attacks in all over Pakistan.
