Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari meeting Sunni Shia notables in Punjab tour
Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari, secretary general of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen, have met many Sunni and Shia Muslim notables during his ongoing tour of central Punjab where he is exchanging views on current situation of the country. He calls for unity of Muslims against takfiris.
Despite the rains and cold weather, thousands of supporters gathered to receive Allama Jafari when his motorcade reached Faisalabad from Mandi Bahauddin. Similar warm welcome was accorded to him in Jhang.
In Faisalabad, Sunni Ittehad Council chief Sahibzada Hamid Raza hosted a dinner reception in his honour where many notables attended.
During his visits, Allama Jafari criticized the government saying that the rulers were product of corruption and the corrupt mafia was the biggest financier and facilitator of terrorism in Pakistan.
He said that corrupt rulers were victimizing political opponents in Punjab and minting money through development projects. He said people were bereft of basic human rights. He said that history would not forget us if we remain silent against the corruption and corrupt mafia.
