Four Deobandi Lashkar-e-Jhangvi terrorists arrested in Gujranwala

Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of Punjab police arrested four Deobandi terrorists of banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (ASWJ) from Gujranwala in an operation last night.

Official sources have confirmed that all four terrorists were linked to the banned LeJ, a sister-wing of the proscribed ASWJ and had made plans to hit sensitive places.
The apprehended terrorists were identified as Rafiq, Javed, Faheem and Ashraf. CTD has recovered more than two kilograms of heavy explosive material and four detonators from the terrorists’ hideout during the operation.
