Taliban-trained terrorist among 3 killed in an encounter with rangers

Lyari gangsters have also been trained by Deobandi Taliban who imparts training to gangsters in Chaman on the border of Pakistan with Afghanistan.

This was disclosed by Pakistan Rangers (Sindh) who killed three gangsters of Lyari gangwar in a shootout with them in Yousuf Goth. The gangsters were gunned down in an intelligence-driven targeted raid by Rangers personnel in the wee hours of Thursday.
According to a paramilitary spokesperson, two personnel were also injured due to firing by the miscreants. Rangers troops cordoned off the area and heavy exchange of fire took place during the operation.
One of the accomplices managed to escape, while a heavy cache of automatic weapons & ammunition was recovered.
The terrorists were identified as Nawaz alias Mulla, Mustafa alias Chamber and Junaid. They were involved in targeted killings, grenade attacks, torture, extortion and robberies. Nawaz was trained by Taliban in 2011 near Chaman border, according to a spokesman of the rangers.
