Friday prayer leaders demonstrate to protest detention of Allama Mirza Yousuf

Karachi-based Shia scholars belonging to an organization of prayer leaders at the mosques staged a demonstration to protest against the unjustifiable detention of Allama Mirza Yousuf Hussain, outside Karachi Press Club.

Allama Shaikh Hassan Salahuddin, Allama Baqar Abbas Zaidi, Allama Jafar Subhani and other scholars of Haiyyat Aimma e Masajid also addressed a press conference at the KPC where they denounced the biased officials within the government and the bureaucracy for implicating Allama Mirza Yousuf in a false case.
They said that Mirza Yousuf was an eminent and qualified Shia scholar and the administration itself knew the fact that he always remained part of solution in critical situation.
The protestors carrying banners and placards chanted slogans for immediate release of Allama Mirza Yousuf. They demanded withdrawal of false case against the eminent Shia scholar.
