Shia areas wore bride look to celebrate Eid-e-Ghadeer across Pakistan

mola2Shia majority areas have been decorated like bride as Shiites across Pakistan celebrate Eid-e-Ghadeer with enthusiasm and reverence on Thursday.
Mosques, Imam Bargahs, houses and streets were illuminated and Shiites hold special programmes to mark the Eid-e- Ghadeer.

Elders gave away Eidi and Eid gifts to the children. Poets and manqabat khwan recite poetry and religious scholars elaborated the philosophy of Eid-e-Ghadeer to renew their allegiance and loyalty to the commander of faithful Hazrat Imam Ali (AS).

They said that Hazrat Mohammad (PBUH), the last apostle and Prophet of God formally and publicly designated Hazrat Ali (AS) as his successor as Wali (Master).

Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Karachi chapter organized an Eid Festival in Sadat Colony Federal B Area (also known as Incholi) in Karachi. Sweets were distributed among the people gathered there. Children enjoyed playing games at the festival. Shia families largely attended the festival.

The Shiites party has also announced it will hold a Conference on Greatness of Wilayat at Nishtar Park Karachi in connection with Eid-e-Ghadeer celebration.

Reports from all nook and cranny of the country had it that Shia majority areas, their residential buildings and streets were illuminated. People also lit earthen lamps and candles to express their religious feelings.
