Tableeghi Jamaat invites Shia leaders to attend congregation

Maulana Tariq Jameel, the key speaker of Tableeghi Jamaat Pakistan, has formally invited eminent Shia leader Allama Rahat Hussain al Hussaini to attend their congregation in Gilgit.

Allama Rahat Hussaini accepted the invitation and he is attending the ijtima. He has asked the Imamia Students Organisation to hold a three-day free medical camp to facilitate the participants of Tableeghi Jamaat’s congregation.

Tableeghi Jamaat represent deobandi school of thought that claims to follow Imam Abu Hanifa who was a student of the infallible Imam Mohammad Baqar (AS) and Imam Jafar Sadiq (AS).

It is for the first time that an eminent Shia Muslim scholar has been invited to attend the tableeghi ijtima. It is believed that it will strengthen Shia-Sunni ties in Pakistan and it is a severe blow to the takfiri ideology.
