Some elements want to weaken developing Pak-Iran relations: Iranian Consulate spokesperson

Shiite News: Spokesperson of Iranian consulate in Pakistan has said that some elements want to destroy the developing relations between Pakistan and Iran and trying to foil the successes achieved by Iranian President Hassan Rouhani’s recent visit to Pakistan.

Spokesperson of Iranian consulate Abbas Badri Far in a statement issued to media said “since past few days some news have been spread through media which will negatively affect Pak-Iran brotherly relations”.

He further said “the purpose of such reports is to destroy Pak-Iran relations and to foil the successes achieved by Iranian President Hassan Rouhani’s recent visit to Pakistan. Such elements are not happy with developing relations between the two countries. Sensible people of Pakistan do give special importance to friendly and brotherly relations with Iran and such rumours would not affect this”.

“Iran has been Pakistan’s sincere and trusted friend since 1947 and no threat has ever been felt on Pakistan’s western border. Islamic Republic of Iran considers its border with Pakistan as a border of peace and friendship”, he added.
