Sunni Tehrik Chief demands outlawed groups should not be allowed to contest Elections

sarwat ejaz Sunni Tehrik Chief Sarwat Aijaz Qadri has expressed grave concern over the participation of outlawed terrorist takfiri groups in the Elections 2013. “It is a cruel joke with people of Pakistan that nomination papers of the outlawed terrorist groups to contest Elections have been approved,” he said speaking at a ceremony held to distribute cheques to the relatives of the slain members of his party. Sarwat Aijaz Qadri said that fanatics and terrorists of outlawed groups who are enemies of Pakistan had been allowed to contest elections notwithstanding the ban on these groups. He said it is cruel joke with law and the Constitution. He demanded of the Election Commission, judiciary and caretaker government to ensure that outlawed terrorist groups should not be allowed to continue their activities by changing names of their outfits.
