General Raheel Sharif announces to retire on due date

Army Chief General Raheel Sharif has rejected all rumors regarding the extension in his tenure and said that such news hold no truth and are just rumors.

In a statement issued from DG ISPR, Army chief has said “Pakistan army is a great institution of the country. I do not believe on any extension and will retire on due date”.

According to Pakistan army’s spokesperson, Geeneral Raheel Sharif expressed determination for continuation of efforts to exterminate terrorism from the country. He said “Pakistan’s larger interests are the foremost priority and the country will be protected at any cost”.
