Syrian Army Continues Operation in Rural Daraa

The Syrian army continued on Wednesday the operation in northern Daraa countryside, targeting an armed group at the Sheikh Meskin roundabouts that was fortifying inside a building.

The operation left 7 gunmen killed or injured, and cannon launcher 81 destroyed.

At least eight other gunmen were killed by direct artillery fire and guided missiles fired at two cars of the armed groups on the road Ibta’ Sheikh Meskin in northern rural Daraa.

The Syrian army launched in May 2013 a wide scale military offensive against the armed groups and takfiri organizations operating in the country.
