All Parties Conference Will Be Held Within One Week to 10 Days: Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari

Shiite News: Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari has said that the All Parties Conference (APC) of the united opposition will be held within one week to 10 days, for which the established committee will finalize the agenda and date after consultation with political parties. He was addressing a joint press conference after a meeting of opposition leaders at the residence of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam head Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman in Islamabad.

He stated that the committee includes Salman Akram Raja, Senator Kamran Murtaza, Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, Aamir Dogar, Nasser Abbas Shirazi, and Muhammad Aslam Ghori, while Khalid Yousaf Chaudhry and Hussain Ahmed Yousafzai will be the coordinators of the conference. A separate sub-committee has also been formed to resolve differences between PTI and Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam.

Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafari said that the imposition of Governor’s Rule in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is an attack on the public mandate, the country is being run in an unconstitutional manner, the mandate was stolen in the elections, and the independence of the judiciary has been targeted. He said that the sanctity of the veil and the four walls is being violated, government ministers themselves are admitting the failure of the system, and the opposition is ready to play its role for the resolution of the country’s problems.

The meeting was attended by Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Mahmood Khan Achakzai, Asad Qaiser, Salman Akram Raja, Aamir Dogar, Akram Khan Durrani, Hafiz Hamdullah, and leaders of various parties. Mahmood Khan Achakzai said that the purpose of this alliance is to strengthen Parliament, and while condemning the character assassination campaign against Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman, he expressed complete solidarity with him.
