Shiite News: The Navy of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced today, Friday, that an unmanned boat of the US military has been destroyed in the eastern part of the Strait of Hormuz.

Earlier, the IRGC Navy said in its statement that two oil tankers — one in the eastern and the other in the western part of the Strait of Hormuz — had turned off all their navigation and positioning systems and were attempting to exit the strait through unauthorized routes with the backing of the terrorist American military, and after ignoring numerous radio warnings and entering an unsafe area, they suffered accidents and stopped in the southern waters of the strait.

The statement said that the stopping of the violating vessels and the fire that broke out in them is the result of the hostile actions of the terrorist American military and the disregard of Iranian regulations concerning the Strait of Hormuz.

It is noteworthy that on Thursday, the IRGC Navy, through an electronic warfare operation, seized control of the control system of an American MQM-170 spy drone and landed it safely and intact west of the Strait of Hormuz; the drone’s mission was to identify Iranian air defense systems along the coast of the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, and its data revealed that it had taken off from the coast of one of the southern coastal countries of the Persian Gulf.
