Central Convention to Be Held on 7 and 8 November in Islamabad: Allama Syed Ahmad Iqbal Rizvi

Shiite News: An important organizational meeting of the Islamabad and Rawalpindi districts of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen Pakistan was held under the chairmanship of Central Vice Chairman Allama Syed Ahmad Iqbal Rizvi, in which central and provincial leadership specially participated.

Central Deputy General Secretary Zaheer Abbas Naqvi, Central Secretary for Publication and Propagation Syed Yawar Ali Kazmi, Provincial President Central Punjab Allama Syed Ali Akbar Kazmi, and Provincial President North Punjab Moulana Zaheer Ul Hassan Karbalai participated in the meeting, and the arrangements for the Shura-e-Umumi, i.e., the Central Convention, to be held on 7 and 8 November in Islamabad were reviewed in detail and a core committee was formed.

The meeting also held detailed discussions regarding the participation of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen in the local government elections of Islamabad and important decisions were made regarding the future strategy, while a five-member Organizing Working Committee for Islamabad district was also formed, which will complete the arrangements for convening the district Shura meeting before the Central Convention.

The meeting expressed the resolve that through mutual consultation, collective struggle, and a well-organized strategy, the organizational structure of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen will be further strengthened and all capabilities will be utilized to play an effective role in the public and political arena.
