MWM Active for Peace and National Unity in Jacobabad, Allama Maqsood Domki Holds Important Meetings with Political and Religious Leaders

Shiite News: Provincial President of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) Sindh, Allama Maqsood Ali Domki, along with Provincial Adviser Syed Kamran Ali Shah Bukhari and Allama Saif Ali Domki, has held important meetings with various political, religious, and social leaders in Jacobabad to promote peace and order, mutual unity, and brotherhood. These leaders included District Ameer of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Dr. A.G. Ansari, Qazi-e-Shahar of Jamiat Ahl-e-Sunnat Pir Syed Ijaz Ali Shah Bukhari, Chairman of Mehran Social Forum Advocate Abdul Hai Soomro, and District Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Muhammad Abu Bakr Soomro. In these meetings, detailed discussions were held on playing a joint role for the peace and stability of the city.

During these meetings, all leaders laid special emphasis on immediately resolving the grievances and misunderstandings that have arisen between the Jakhrani brothers through understanding and negotiations. Allama Maqsood Domki stressed that young people should refrain from spreading irresponsible and inflammatory content on social media that unnecessarily increases tension. He announced that a joint delegation comprising the Sadat, scholars, and notables of Jacobabad will soon meet both parties and play its key role in amicably resolving this issue through mutual respect.

During the meetings, Allama Maqsood Ali Domki formally invited all leaders to participate in the ‘Death Anniversary of Martyrs of Jacobabad and Grand Martyrs Conference’ and ‘Labbaik Ya Rasul Allah Rally’ to be held on October 23. He clarified that in this conference, along with the martyrs of Jacobabad, full tribute will also be paid to the martyrs of Palestine and Gaza who fell victim to the oppression of the usurping Zionists. In response, District Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Muhammad Abu Bakr Soomro invited the MWM delegation to participate in a ceremony organized on October 7 on the occasion of ‘Operation Al-Aqsa Flood’ in favor of the oppressed Palestinians and also presented them with a gift of books by thinker of Islam Maulana Syed Abul A’la Maududi (RA). On this occasion, agreement was also reached on activating the Milli Yekjehti Council and consulting on joint national affairs.
