Shiite News: Addressing a press conference at Jamia Al-Mustafa Khatam al-Nabiyyin in Jacobabad alongside more than 40 religious scholars, prominent scholar Allama Maqsood Ali Domki said that the ongoing Israeli military actions in Palestine and Lebanon are unacceptable. He said that standing with oppressed Muslims is both a religious and humanitarian responsibility.

Allama Maqsood Ali Domki criticized efforts by some Muslim and Arab rulers to develop relations with Israel and called for practical unity among Muslims. He strongly condemned Israeli bombardment of Lebanon and praised the resilience of the Lebanese people and the resistance front. Discussing the situation in Pakistan, he said that the country’s stability and peace should be promoted in light of the ideas of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and Allama Muhammad Iqbal.

He also emphasized Shia-Sunni unity, saying that Sunnis are their brothers and that the two communities have lived together in the region for centuries. He said that those who promote sectarian hatred strengthen forces hostile to Islam and, in his characterization, imperial powers. Allama Maqsood Domki described a recent message by Iran’s Supreme Leader as a ray of light in darkness and reaffirmed his support for his leadership.

Allama Syed Zafar Abbas Shamsi, Allama Mushtaq Hussain Umrani, Allama Zulfiqar Ali Saeedi, Allama Barkat Ali Mutahhari and other prominent religious scholars also attended the press conference.
