CTD Conducts Intelligence-Based Operation in Pakpattan, Arrests Suspected Lashkar-e-Jhangvi Militant
Shiite News: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested a suspected militant, identified as Abdul Raheem, during an intelligence-based operation near SH Garden in Pakpattan, according to CTD officials.
According to the authorities, the arrested suspect is allegedly affiliated with the banned Lashkar-e-Jhangvi organization and is originally from Peshawar district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
During the operation, CTD officials said they recovered an improvised explosive device (IED), an electrical circuit, an electric detonator and a battery from the suspect. The authorities said the recovery helped prevent a potential major incident.

The CTD registered a case against the suspect and launched further investigations to identify and arrest other alleged facilitators.
