Iran Has Proved That Global Imperialism Can Be Defeated, Says Allama Hasan Zafar Naqvi

Shiite News: Prominent Pakistani religious scholar and Central Secretary General of Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM), Allama Syed Hasan Zafar Naqvi, has said that Iran is the only and biggest obstacle in the way of the United States and Israel. He stressed that Iran has demonstrated that it is possible not only to confront global imperialism but also to defeat it, and therefore, according to him, the Muslim world must now take effective collective measures.

Allama Hasan Zafar Naqvi said that the United States and Israel would never be able to achieve what he described as their “Greater Israel” objective. He further argued that it had now become clear that US military bases in the countries of the Persian Gulf were not established for the defense of the region but, according to his assessment, solely to protect Israel. He said that lasting peace in the region would not be possible as long as these bases remain there.

Expressing deep concern, he said that Israel continues to carry out attacks in Gaza and Lebanon while the international community remains a silent spectator. Addressing Muslim rulers, he said they should understand that there is no superpower except God and claimed that American arrogance had been brought down.

He further stated that if Iran alone can confront the United States and Israel, then, in his view, the unity of all Muslim countries could make the liberation of Jerusalem a matter of days rather than years. He added that Palestinians facing hardship continue to look toward the Muslim world with hope for support.
