Iranian Strikes Cause Heavy Damage to U.S. Military Bases, CBS News Releases Exclusive Images

Shiite News: U.S. broadcaster CBS News has published new images showing extensive damage caused by Iranian missile and drone strikes on U.S. military positions across the region. According to CBS News, the images were provided anonymously by active-duty U.S. service members because of strict media restrictions within the military.

A U.S. service member told CBS News that the attacks caused significant and unusual damage to American military bases, while suggesting that the extent of the damage had not been fully communicated to the U.S. public.

According to CBS News, one photograph from Prince Sultan Air Force Base in Saudi Arabia shows a direct hit on a Boeing E-3 Sentry aircraft. The image shows the aircraft’s tail section severed from the charred fuselage. CBS News also reported damage to buildings, barracks and vehicles at U.S. positions in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
