Senior Qassam Brigades Commander Ahmed al-Batsh Killed in Northern Gaza

Shiite News: Ahmed al-Batsh, a prominent commander of the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, also known as Abu Osama, was reportedly killed in an attack near al-Saftawi Square in northern Gaza.

According to Palestinian sources, further details about the incident have not yet emerged, and the Qassam Brigades has not yet issued an official response confirming the reported death of its commander.

It is noteworthy that this is reportedly the second incident in recent days involving the death of a Qassam Brigades commander. Last Thursday, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades also issued a statement confirming the death of Farah Ahmed Abdul Majid Hamed, a senior member of its military council in the West Bank. According to the statement, Farah Hamed was killed in an Israeli attack in western Gaza.
