Shia Ulema Council Reception Camp Demonstrates Shia-Sunni Unity on Eid Milad-un-Nabi

Shiite News: Responding to the message of unity from the leader of the Muslim Ummah, the Shia Ulema Council (SUC), Taxila Tehsil, organized a grand reception camp on the blessed occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH). Hosted by Tehsil President Sardar Syed Chiragh Ali Naqvi, the camp saw enthusiastic participation from Shia and Sunni devotees of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), presenting a strong practical example of Muslim unity.

Central SUC Pakistan leader Syed Izhar Bukhari and provincial leader Maulana Syed Jafar Naqvi, along with office-bearers of various Shia and Sunni organizations, attended the event. Religious scholars, members of Milad committees, Naat reciters, and numerous political and social figures also participated in the spiritual gathering.

The camp featured visible scenes of brotherhood and unity. Shia scholars welcomed their Sunni brothers warmly by presenting them with flower garlands. Sunni participants reciprocated with openness and goodwill, enjoyed sweet milk served at the camp, listened to speeches and Naat recitations from the Shia stage, and praised the SUC for its arrangements.

Addressing the reception camp, speakers emphasized that the only lasting solution to sectarian prejudice, religious tensions and extremism in Pakistan lies in unity among the Muslim Ummah. They said that once genuine unity is embraced, the long-standing aspiration for religious and sectarian peace and stability in the country can become a reality.
