Jamia Urwat-ul-Wusqa Holds Grand Annual ‘Unity of Ummah Rally’ in Lahore

Shiite News: On the blessed occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH), Jamia Urwat-ul-Wusqa organized its annual ‘Unity of the Ummah Rally’ in Lahore. The large rally began from the seminary, proceeded along Ferozepur Road, and concluded at the Qainchi Flyover. A large number of devotees of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and local citizens participated.

The rally was led by Allama Syed Jawad Naqvi, head of Tehreek Bedari-e-Ummat-e-Mustafa. The primary objective of the rally was to promote a message of unity, brotherhood and awareness among Muslims. Addressing the participants, he emphasized that despite the presence of around two billion Muslims worldwide, the Muslim Ummah has failed to fully uphold its Quranic responsibilities.

Allama Jawad Naqvi said that Hamas, Hezbollah, Yemen and Iraqi fighters are currently symbols of resistance against what he described as global hegemony, while Iran’s leadership, in his view, represents an important pillar of religious commitment. He strongly criticized Israel and U.S.-backed policies, saying that such policies have weakened the Muslim Ummah and that remaining silent over the suffering of oppressed people is unacceptable.
