Tribute Paid to Late Ayatollah Muhammad Hussain Najafi on His Death Anniversary

Leader of the Jafariah community of Pakistan, Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, paid tribute to the late Ayatollah Allama Muhammad Hussain Najafi on August 21, marking his third death anniversary. In a message issued on the occasion, he said that the valuable services of this eminent scholar, who played an active and prominent role in the promotion of Islamic sciences and the collective religious struggle, would always be remembered.

He said that the late Ayatollah Muhammad Hussain Najafi remained associated with the community’s collective platform and, following the death of Allama Mufti Jafar Hussain, played an effective role, alongside other prominent figures, in completing the Central Council for the selection of leadership for the Shia community of Pakistan.

Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi said that the scholarly and research contributions of the late Ayatollah Muhammad Hussain Najafi in various fields, including Quranic exegesis, were widely acknowledged by Pakistan’s academic and literary circles. He also demonstrated his abilities in the field of religious oratory. The late scholar’s religious and community services are extensive.
