Sayyed Abdul-Malik al-Houthi Strongly Condemns Desecration of the Quran, Urges Muslim Countries to Consider Economic and Political Measures

Shiite News: Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, leader of Ansar Allah in Yemen, has strongly condemned repeated acts of desecration of the Holy Quran, saying that such actions demonstrate what he described as hostility toward sacred religious principles and rejection of the divine message.

He said the teachings of the Quran call humanity toward guidance, justice, and freedom, while what he described as a Zionist approach is based on oppression, aggression, and the dominance of power.

He urged Muslim countries not to limit their response to condemnation, but to take serious political and economic measures against what he described as acts of Quran desecration. These measures, he said, could include sanctions against the United States and Western countries and boycotts of their products. Sayyed al-Houthi said such economic pressure could help deter further desecration of the Quran.

He also called on Muslims to strengthen their relationship with the Quran and make its teachings an integral part of their daily lives.
