Skardu Friday Prayer Leader Offers Condolences During Final Days of Safar, Urges Muslims to Follow the Prophet’s Seerah

Shiite News: Allama Sheikh Muhammad Hassan Jafari, the Friday prayer leader of Skardu, Baltistan, Pakistan, expressed condolences during the final days of Safar on the occasions commemorating the passing of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the martyrdom of Imam Hasan al-Mujtaba and Imam Ali al-Ridha (peace be upon them).

He said that the blessed life of the Holy Prophet is a perfect example of mercy, justice, morality, and unity for humanity, while Imam Hasan al-Mujtaba demonstrated an exemplary commitment to the preservation and advancement of Islam by prioritizing patience, forbearance, wisdom, and the broader interests of the Muslim community.

He said, “On the occasion commemorating the passing of the Messenger of Mercy and the martyrdom of the Prophet’s grandson, Imam Hasan al-Mujtaba, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the Imam of the Age, the senior religious authorities, scholars, and the entire Muslim Ummah, particularly the devotees of the Ahl al-Bayt.”

He emphasized that the need of the hour is not to limit devotion to these revered personalities to sentiment alone, but to practically incorporate their teachings into our conduct, dealings, and social lives.

He prayed that Allah Almighty grant Muslims the ability to genuinely follow the Seerah of the Holy Prophet and the teachings of the Ahl al-Bayt.
