Allama Arif Hussain Wahidi Addresses JSO Pakistan Executive Council Meeting

Shiite News: The Executive Council meeting of Jafaria Students Organization (JSO) Pakistan was held in Islamabad, bringing together Allama Arif Hussain Wahidi, Central Vice President of Shia Ulema Council Pakistan, Allama Muhammad Ramzan Tauqeer, members of the Supervisory Council, students, youth activists, and organizational office-bearers from across the country.

Addressing the meeting, Allama Muhammad Ramzan Tauqeer highlighted the challenges facing JSO’s youth and presented practical recommendations to address them. He emphasized the need to strengthen the intellectual and organizational capabilities of young members.

In his keynote address, Allama Arif Hussain Wahidi congratulated Syed Fatah Rizvi, Central President of JSO Pakistan, for organizing a successful and well-managed meeting. He said that the youth are the backbone and greatest asset of any nation and society. He praised JSO members for following the teachings of Ahl al-Bayt (AS), pursuing religious, educational, and intellectual development, remaining committed to their leadership, and steadily advancing toward their organizational goals.

He stressed three fundamental principles for strengthening and advancing the organization.

The first, he said, is moral and spiritual development. Every member should focus on self-improvement, purification of the soul, and seeking the pleasure of Allah, as strong character forms the foundation of a strong organization.

The second pillar is organizational training. He urged members to seek guidance from senior leaders, adhere to organizational rules and discipline, and remember that they joined the organization for a higher purpose. He noted that the organization itself is not the ultimate goal but a means to achieve greater objectives. He encouraged constructive criticism within the framework of organizational ethics while urging leaders to welcome feedback, address members’ concerns, and work actively to resolve shortcomings.

The third key area, according to Allama Wahidi, is political awareness and education. Since the youth’s national platform is the Shia Ulema Council Pakistan and its political platform is the Islamic Tehreek Pakistan, he said members should remain informed about national, regional, and international political developments. He encouraged them to analyze organizational weaknesses, contribute to solutions, and understand the role of Islamic Tehreek Pakistan in the country’s current political landscape.

Referring to the recent Gilgit-Baltistan elections, he said their results and surrounding circumstances should be assessed objectively so that shortcomings could be addressed while positive lessons are incorporated into future efforts.

Allama Arif Hussain Wahidi also paid tribute to what he described as the leadership of Imam Khamenei, stating that wherever the spirit of Karbala remains alive and the courage of Imam Ali (AS) is upheld, oppressive and imperialist forces will ultimately face defeat.

He further said that the community takes pride in the leadership of Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, whom he described as a wise, capable, and visionary leader. He expressed confidence that, under his guidance, JSO Pakistan and the Shia Ulema Council Pakistan would continue working together to promote unity, discipline, perseverance, positive social change, national harmony, and religious values.

Concluding his address, Allama Wahidi praised the young participants who had traveled from different parts of the country despite the intense heat to attend the meeting. He said their dedication, sincerity, and commitment to their mission were a guarantee of future success and prayed for their continued achievements in fulfilling their religious, educational, and organizational responsibilities.
