Iraqi Army Announces Martyr of the Ummah’s Body Will Be Taken to the Shrines of Imam Hussein (AS) and Hazrat Abbas (AS) in Karbala
ShiiteNews: The Iraqi Army has announced that the body of the “Martyr of the Ummah,” Grand Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, will also be taken to Iraq, where the public will be given an opportunity to pay their final respects.

According to the Iraqi Army spokesperson, the body will arrive in Najaf on Tuesday evening next week. An official ceremony will be held there with the participation of Iranian and Iraqi officials.
On Wednesday at 6:00 a.m., in the presence of millions of Iraqis, the funeral procession will move from Kufa to Najaf. Later, at 4:00 p.m., funeral ceremonies will be held in various areas of Karbala, including the shrines of Imam Hussein (AS) and Hazrat Abul Fazl Al-Abbas (AS).
Foreign delegations are also expected to attend, while Iraqi Mawkib (pilgrimage service) organizers have announced that they are fully prepared to serve the participants.
