Eight-Year-Old Student Allegedly Sexually Assaulted by Teacher in Noorpur Thal; Suspect Arrested

Islamabad:  According to the report, an eight-year-old student, Muhammad Huzaifa, who was studying the Quran at a mosque in Shah Wala Janubi village, Noorpur Thal, was allegedly sexually assaulted by his teacher, Qari Muhammad Rizwan.

The report states that the child’s mother went to the mosque and allegedly found the suspect assaulting her son. The child later told his family that the accused had allegedly abused him repeatedly for about a month and threatened to kill him if he revealed the incidents.

Police registered First Information Report (FIR) No. 286/26 at Noorpur Police Station under Section 376(iii) of the relevant law and arrested Qari Muhammad Rizwan.
