Funeral Procession of the Martyred Leader of the Revolution to Be Held in Najaf and Karbala at the Request of the Iraqi People

Shiite News: The spokesperson for the central committee responsible for organizing the funeral procession of the Martyred Leader of the Revolution announced that repeated requests had been received from the people of Iraq, religious scholars, tribal leaders, clans, and prominent personalities to host the funeral and pay tribute to the late leader.

Taking these requests into consideration, it has been decided that the funeral procession will be held in the holy Iraqi cities of Najaf Ashraf and Karbala.

The spokesperson stated that the funeral procession of the Martyred Leader of the Revolution will take place on Wednesday, July 8, in Najaf and Karbala. Detailed information regarding the timing and locations of the ceremonies will be announced later by the relevant Iraqi authorities.

According to the spokesperson, various segments of Iraqi society have expressed a strong desire to host and participate in this historic funeral procession, prompting organizers to give special attention to the arrangements and preparations for the event.
