Chakwal University Israeli Flag Case: Those Hurting National Sentiments Must Be Punished, Demands ISO

Shiite News: Spokesperson of Imamia Students Organization (ISO) Pakistan, Syed Hamza Sabzwari, strongly condemned the shameful incident of displaying an Israeli flag at Chakwal University.

He stated that this act is a clear violation of the spirit of Pakistan’s Constitution and the explicit stance of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, who had declared Israel an illegitimate state. He added that Pakistan’s official position on the matter remains unchanged.

Syed Hamza Sabzwari said that as patriotic Pakistanis, they completely reject the flag allegedly nurtured under American patronage on Pakistani soil.

The ISO spokesperson further stated that the Israeli flag is stained with the blood of oppressed Palestinians, and displaying it in any Pakistani educational institution is equivalent to hurting the sentiments of the entire nation.

He demanded that the university administration immediately clarify the matter, identify all those involved, and ensure strict punishment for the responsible individuals.

He added that every child of Pakistan stands with Palestine, and by following Quaid-e-Azam’s vision, they will not allow educational institutions in Pakistan to become centers of anti-national ideologies.
