Allama Shehenshah Naqvi Reacts to Government Stance on Pakistanis Returned from Dubai
According to ShiiteNews, prominent religious and social figure Allama Syed Shehenshah Hussain Naqvi has reacted to the government’s statement regarding the alleged return and deportation of Pakistani citizens from Dubai, saying that the government’s recent stance reflects a diplomatic approach, but the ground realities appear to be different.
In his statement, he said that the government and relevant institutions should issue cautious statements of this nature, but it seems that authorities are trying to resolve the issue through diplomatic contacts and meetings.

He added that the reality of the matter is “as clear as the sun” and does not require further explanation. According to Allama Naqvi, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has complete records at all airports in Pakistan, showing that a large number of Pakistani citizens had their visas canceled and were sent back. He claimed that these individuals have already arrived in cities including Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Faisalabad, and Sialkot.
He further said that the affected individuals belong to different sects and backgrounds and should not be viewed merely through a sectarian lens. According to him, these people are talented and skilled Pakistanis who had been working for major companies in the UAE for many years.
Allama Naqvi also stated that the government’s claim that these individuals were expelled due to legal or documentation issues appears to be a “political statement.”
He claimed that many of the affected individuals had been residing in the UAE for 20 to 25 years and even held privileges such as Golden Visas, therefore the reasons behind their deportation should be clearly explained.
He urged Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, and other concerned authorities to take serious notice of the matter and inform the relevant institutions so the public can be made aware of the facts.
In conclusion, he said that if the government is working on the issue, then the public and affected individuals should be kept informed in order to ease their concerns.
