Shiite News: A conference was held in Malir’s Jafar-e-Tayyar Society under the joint auspices of Jafaria Alliance District Malir and Imamia Organization, to offer condolences on the martyrdom of Ali Khamenei and to reaffirm allegiance to the newly elected Supreme Leader, Mojtaba Khamenei.
The conference was addressed by Dr. Meraj-ul-Huda Siddiqui, central Additional General Secretary of Shia Ulema Council Pakistan, Allama Nazir Abbas Taqvi, and Khateeb of the central mosque, Dr. Maulana Naseem Haider Zaidi.
Speakers paid tribute to Ali Khamenei, stating that he upheld the banner of truth and resistance against oppression and tyranny, ultimately sacrificing his life and inspiring a renewed spirit of resistance across the Muslim world.
Dr. Meraj-ul-Huda Siddiqui stated that U.S. military bases in the Middle East are not for the protection of Arab lands but are instead used to safeguard American interests and defend Israel.
He further claimed that during the recent 12-day war, Iran’s military capabilities were acknowledged globally, as its drones and missiles delivered a clear message to adversaries.
Allama Nazir Abbas Taqvi emphasized that the foundation of the Islamic Revolution is rooted in the message of resistance and perseverance from Karbala, and that this movement will never bow before oppressive forces.
He also warned that certain elements in Pakistan are deliberately fueling sectarianism, which is against national and communal interests.
He condemned the harassment of individuals injured in the March 1 incident in Karachi through phone calls and demanded immediate action by authorities to stop such practices. He warned that if the issue persists, the scope of protests may be expanded.
The conference concluded with prayers for the elevation of ranks of Ali Khamenei, unity among the Muslim Ummah, and peace and stability in the region.
