Sheikh Khazali praises the role of the United Nations mission in supporting political stability in Iraq

The Secretary-General of Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, praised the role of the United Nations mission in supporting political stability in Iraq on Saturday.
The media office of the Secretary-General of Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq stated in a press release received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that “Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, Secretary-General of Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq, received the United Nations representative in Iraq, Mohammed al-Hassan, at his office in Baghdad on the occasion of the end of his mission in Iraq.”
The statement added that “the meeting discussed the overall political developments in the country, with al-Hassan congratulating the success of the electoral process and commending the active participation of the Iraqi people, which reflected their awareness and commitment to the democratic process.”
For his part, Sheikh al-Khazali, according to the statement, “praised the efforts exerted by Mohammed al-Hassan and the United Nations mission in supporting political stability and strengthening the democratic process in Iraq, emphasizing the importance of respecting the will of the people and the outcomes of the electoral process.”
