Hamas accuses ‘Israel’ of 760 systematic ceasefire violations

Despite the ongoing ceasefire in Gaza, the Palestinian resistance movement, Hamas, has accused “Israel” of committing over 760 documented violations since the truce took effect, including direct killings, military incursions, and the targeting of civilians and infrastructure. In a detailed statement, Hamas expressed appreciation for the efforts of international mediators while calling on them to urgently hold the occupation accountable for undermining the ceasefire and deepening the humanitarian crisis in Gaza.

Hundreds killed, nearly 1,000 injured
According to Hamas and verified field reports, the violations have resulted in the deaths of 385 civilians, including 137 children, 57 women, 16 elderly, 144 civilian men, and 31 resistance fighters.

In addition, 991 people have been injured, among them 334 children, 210 women, 51 elderly, 386 civilian men, and 10 resistance fighters. Notably, 59 civilians were killed directly as a result of ceasefire breaches.

Since the ceasefire came into effect, the occupation has carried out a sustained escalation marked by 385 direct killings and 985 injuries, alongside 211 sniper attacks and 37 ground incursions. These violations also included 369 airstrikes, the demolition of 141 homes, and 43 arrests, underscoring what is described as a systematic pattern of breaches that continue to undermine the ceasefire and target civilians and infrastructure.

Hamas emphasized that while it remained fully committed to the terms of the truce, “Israel’s” actions suggest a deliberate strategy to sabotage peace efforts and prolong civilian suffering.

Buffer Zone violations and territorial expansion
“Israel” has also failed to honor the ceasefire’s withdrawal terms. Violations include:

Construction of concrete barriers extending 200 to 1,100 meters beyond the designated “yellow line”.
Imposition of expanded fire control zones up to 1.7 kilometers deep, covering 34 km².

Daily engineering demolitions within Gaza, including the destruction of homes and neighborhoods.

The ceasefire agreement stipulated the entry of 600 aid trucks per day, but only an average of 235.5 trucks entered—just 39.3% of the agreed volume. Only 334 fuel trucks have entered, an average of 5.5 a day, despite an agreement stipulating 11 per day.

Critical shortages persist in food and baby formula, shelter materials (only 25 tents delivered despite massive displacement), and construction supplies needed for rebuilding homes and hospitals

Collapse of civil infrastructure
Israeli measures have further strangled Gaza’s already fragile infrastructure, with the only power plant remaining shut since October 26 due to the fuel blockade, while water, sewage, and telecommunications networks continue to deteriorate.

Bakeries have been paralyzed by bans on essential equipment and spare parts, ambulance and rescue services face repeated obstructions, and heavy machinery needed to clear rubble and restore basic services is barred from entry. At the same time, the Rafah border crossing remains closed in both directions, blocking the evacuation of the wounded, preventing the entry of international medical teams, and denying the return of stranded civilians and urgent humanitarian cases.

These restrictions have pushed Gaza’s health sector to the brink of collapse, with hospitals struggling to function amid severe shortages and mounting pressure.

Gaza’s healthcare system is nearing total collapse, as hospitals operate under extreme shortages and mounting strain. Red Crescent teams are barred from reaching northern Gaza, while international medical delegations have been denied entry entirely.

Critical medical supplies, including medicines, surgical tools, and therapeutic solutions, have been seized or blocked, and vital medical equipment such as incubators, dialysis machines, and X-ray units are not being allowed in. At the same time, efforts to reconstruct damaged hospital facilities are being obstructed. This health crisis is compounded by the ongoing concealment of the fate of missing persons and detainees, with Israeli authorities refusing to coordinate or release information on those held or killed.

“Israel” continues to withhold the fate of detainees and missing persons, including children and women. To date, only 345 bodies have been returned out of more than 1,200 held. No official lists of those killed or detained were provided, and the occupation has rejected mediator proposals regarding the release of captives and continued practices such as execution and body desecration, in violation of international law.

Hamas calls for immediate action
Despite its full compliance with the ceasefire, Hamas warned that “Israel’s” systematic violations threaten to derail the agreement and prolong suffering. It called on international mediators, friendly states, and international organizations to take the following steps:

Immediately pressure “Israel” to halt all violations and fully adhere to the agreement.
Ensure full Israeli withdrawal from Gaza to enter the second phase of the truce.
Establish an international monitoring mechanism to verify and report violations.
Guarantee the daily entry of 600 aid trucks, including fuel, food, and medicine.
Allow UN and humanitarian agencies to operate freely in Gaza.
Reopen Rafah Crossing to allow the entry of medical teams and return of civilians.
Permit the entry of medical equipment and reconstruction materials.
Disclose the fate of all detainees and missing persons, especially children and women.
Begin the immediate restoration of critical infrastructure and public services.
Withdraw from newly imposed buffer zones and cease all military expansion.
