The Popular Mobilization Forces participate in a simulation of the special voting poll for the parliamentary elections

The Popular Mobilization Authority (PMA) announced, on Wednesday, its participation in the special voting simulation conducted by the Independent High Electoral Commission for the 2025 Iraqi parliamentary elections.
The authority said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “The Presidency of the PMA and its affiliates participated in the simulation and introduced the use of biometric cards on special voting day and the full mechanism for entering polling stations and polling centers, including verification devices, reading the electoral card barcode with the voter’s fingerprints, and ending with the voting process, which will take place in various operational sectors where the PMA forces are deployed.”
The statement added, “This step comes in line with the procedures of the Independent High Electoral Commission with various security agencies.”
The statement explained that “these are the second elections in which the PMA participates in special voting after the 2023 provincial council elections.”
