The President of the Republic and Mr. Al-Hakim discuss preparations for the upcoming elections

President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid and the head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, discussed on Thursday the preparations underway to successfully conduct the upcoming parliamentary elections in a fair, transparent, and credible manner.
The Presidency of the Republic stated in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that “President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, received the head of the National Wisdom Movement, Mr. Ammar al-Hakim, where they discussed developments on the domestic and regional arenas.”
The statement explained that “the importance of exerting efforts to maintain stability in the security, political, and economic fields was emphasized, and working to develop the service sector in the manner to which our people aspire.”
The statement continued, “The meeting also discussed preparations for the successful, fair, and transparent conduct of the upcoming parliamentary elections.”
