High River Levels Pose Risk of Super Floods, Warns Allama Shabbir Hassan Maisami

Shiite News: Central Secretary General Shia Ulema Council Pakistan Allama Shabbir Hassan Maisami has said in his statement on social media that after the recent rains, the water level in the rivers has increased, due to which there is a risk of super floods. He said that the water of the Chenab, Ravi and Sutlej rivers has entered the Indus River.

According to preliminary information, the government and administrative institutions should work together to speed up and improve the work now so that the possible losses can be reduced.

The chairman of Zahra (S) Academy further said: Security personnel should be deployed 24 hours a day, the people of nearby villages should protect their livestock themselves. In these circumstances, they should also pray that Allah Almighty protects the residents of the blessed country of Pakistan.
