Shiite New: Central leader of Majlis-e-Wahdat-ul-Muslimeen (MWM) Pakistan, Allama Maqsood Ali Domki, while addressing the annual Majlis-e-Aza at Rani Pur Valley Zahra, said that the progeny of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) made unparalleled sacrifices throughout history for the preservation of faith.
Their patience and gratitude in the face of divine trials remain a shining testament to their role in supporting the religion of God.
He stated that in today’s era, the followers of Karbala have performed a miracle that astonished the world. “When the Yazid of our time – the United States – secured the allegiance of 56 Muslim states, the followers of Karbala, in the spirit of Imam Hussain’s (AS) declaration ‘Someone like me will never pledge allegiance to Yazid,’ rejected American slavery and stood up to U.S. and Israeli dominance in Iran, Yemen, Lebanon, and Gaza,” Allama Domki remarked.
He further said that global developments now indicate the triumph of the people of truth. The massive Arbaeen gathering in Karbala, the steadfastness of Palestine, Gaza, Lebanon, and Yemen, and the successes of the Islamic Republic of Iran have all humiliated the “Great Satan” America worldwide. “The world is now searching for a new order based on justice and rejection of oppressive hegemonic systems,” he added.
Later, during a discussion with scholars and believers at Jamia al-Mustafa Khatam al-Nabiyyin, Allama Domki raised concern over the unjust imprisonment of prominent Quetta-based scholar Maulana Ghulam Hasnain Wajdani, who has been detained in Saudi Arabia for the past five months without explanation.
He urged the Government of Pakistan to engage Saudi authorities and secure the scholar’s immediate release. “The unlawful arrest of such a respected religious leader has caused deep concern among the nation.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs must act responsibly to ensure the freedom of an honorable citizen,” he emphasized.
