MWM expresses concern over mysterious death of Journalist Khawar Hussain, demands transparent investigation

Shiite News: Majlis-e-Wahdat-ul-Muslimeen (MWM) has expressed deep sorrow and concern over the mysterious death of Dawn News reporter Khawar Hussain.
In a statement, the party’s spokesperson paid tribute to Khawar Hussain, describing him as a fearless and bold journalist who always performed his professional duties with honesty and courage.
The spokesperson criticized the police for prematurely declaring the incident a suicide, stressing that the case must be treated as a suspected murder until transparent investigations bring out the true facts.
He demanded that the government conduct a fair and impartial inquiry into Khawar Hussain’s death and ensure that journalists are provided with complete protection so they can fulfill their responsibilities without fear or pressure.
