Gaza: Aid Truck Overturns, Leaving 20 Dead Amid Humanitarian Crisis

In a devastating event early Wednesday morning, the Government Media Office in Gaza reported that 20 individuals lost their lives and many more were injured when an aid truck overturned on a crowd of desperate people in the central Gaza Strip.

The office explained in detail the incident that the truck overturned on top of those waiting for aid. The occupation had forced the truck to enter through unsafe roads that had previously been bombed and were not suitable for passage.
In a statement, the office confirmed that the occupation is deliberately preventing the provision of aid trucks and facilitating their access to those in need, forcing drivers to take routes crowded with hungry civilians who have been waiting for weeks for the most basic necessities of life.

He continued, “This leads to the attack on these trucks and the confiscation of their contents, in a scene deliberately and deliberately created by the occupation, under what has become known as the ‘engineering of starvation and chaos.’”

A Full-fledged Crime of Genocide

In light of this new Israeli crime, the Government Media Office in Gaza condemned this deliberate criminal policy practiced by the occupation, which “amounts to a full-fledged crime of genocide under international humanitarian law.”
The office held the occupation and the countries involved in this system, led by the United States, fully responsible for the worsening humanitarian catastrophe and for the blood of innocents who are dying daily due to hunger and deliberate mismanagement.
In concluding the statement, the office emphasized that the situation in the Gaza Strip has crossed all red lines, specifying that “the ongoing systematic crime is a failure to respond and a direct or indirect complicity in deepening the crime through silence, complicity, or disregard.”
