Closure of Parachinar roads is a serious incompetence of government, Allama Iqbal Beheshti

Shiite News: The protest sit-in by Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen District Islamabad and other national organizations in front of the Islamabad Press Club continued for the sixth day.

A large number of scholars, women, children, old people and young people participated in this sit-in.

Addressing the participants of the sit-in, Allama Muhammad Iqbal Beheshti, the central leader of Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen and Senior Vice President of Majlis Ulema Maktab Ahlul Bayt, said that the closure of Parachinar roads for more than two and a half months shows the incompetence of the government.

He said that millions of Farzandan e Islam across the country standing with the six lac besieged people of Parachinar. The oppressed will not be left alone under any circumstances.

Expressing regret over the failure of the state, Allama Beheshti said that the state of Pakistan has failed to provide protection to the people of Kurram, Parachinar.

He said that innocent travelers have been killed on the highways for years, but not a single terrorist has been punished so far.

Central leader MWM Engineer Zaheer Naqvi said that those who target security forces and travelers on a daily basis should not be considered equal to those who respect the law.

Strong criticism of the government’s actions:

Majlis Wahdat GB Provincial Vice President Allama Nayyar Mustafavi strongly criticized the government’s behavior and said that what kind of state is this where the people are forced to starve and medicines and food items have run out, but instead of fulfilling their demands, the government blackmails them.

Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen member GB Council Allama Ahmed Noori said that testing the people is against the constitution and law.

Other speakers, including Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Islamabad Rawalpindi District President Allama Awan Ali Shah, Asadullah Cheema, Allama Amir Abbas, and leaders of the Awam National Party also addressed the sit-in. The sit-in participants announced that the sit-in would continue until the roads to Parachinar were opened.
