Peaceful sit-ins will continue across country, Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri

Shiite News: Chairman Majlis Wahdat Muslimeen Pakistan Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri has said in his statement issued from the media cell that a human tragedy is taking place in Parachinar.

Due to the closure of roads, people cannot take their funerals. Parachinar is surrounded by Afghanistan on three sides and Pakistan on one side.

Food and fuel supplies have disappeared in the blood-curdling cold. The protection of people’s lives and property and ensuring peace and order is the first duty of the state, but the rulers and responsible people here are indifferent.

Thousands of people who want to return to foreign countries are stranded and many people cannot go to their homes.

Children are not going to school and life has become unbearable due to difficulties. It is like a prison cell. This is not a Shia-Sunni issue, whoever calls it a sectarian issue is neither a well-wisher of Pakistan nor of Islam. What do women, school children and business or employed people have to do with wars and battles?

Protests are taking place all over the country, including abroad, in which our mothers, sisters, daughters, children, old and young people are sitting in the bitter cold all night and are peacefully protesting so that the roads of Parachinar, which have been closed for two and a half months, should be opened.

Senator Allama Raja Nasir Abbas Jafri said that we are holding this protest to open roads and not to cause anyone any trouble. Therefore, wherever sit-ins are taking place in Karachi and all over Pakistan, do not block the roads. The sit-ins should continue but the roads should be opened. If there is a two-way road, then keep one side of the road open and the youth should regulate the situation and keep the traffic flowing.

Blocking the road is a sin and also illegal. No one should be bothered or inconvenienced if they have to reach their offices, schools, their businesses and hospitals.

Our visionary and conscious people should keep these things in mind. We cannot be tired. Victory will only belong to the oppressed, God willing.
