Pakistani pilgrims stranded in Iraq reached Karachi from Baghdad Airport
Shiite News: Pakistani pilgrims stuck at Baghdad Airport in Iraq for several hours reached Karachi Airport. Pakistani pilgrims stranded at Baghdad Airport reached Karachi Airport by Iraqi Airways flight IA 2431.
Iraqi Airways flight IA 2431 carrying Pakistani pilgrims arrived at Karachi Airport at 6:15 am on Saturday morning.
The famous mourner Shahid Hussain Baltistan was also among the pilgrims who arrived in Pakistan.
Before the arrival of the pilgrims, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tesuri said that Member National Assembly Engineer Hameed Hussain met him and drew attention to the problem, which he discussed with the Iraqi ambassador.
According to the Foreign Office, 654 Pakistani pilgrims were stranded at Baghdad Airport due to technical problems in two Iraq Airways planes.
Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Chaudhry Salik Hussain called Pakistani Ambassador to Iraq Zeeshan Ahmed regarding the issue.
The Pakistani ambassador said that there is no truth in the news about the passport being lost. The situation arose due to mismanagement of tourism companies.
Sources said that the second flight of pilgrims will also reach Pakistan soon. It should be noted that 654 Pakistani pilgrims were stuck at Baghdar Airport.
