50 believers martyred, hundreds injured in Parachinar
Shiite News: Tribal clashes continue in Kurram District, in which 43 people have been killed so far while 177 people are injured.
According to police sources, the clashes between the two tribes in Kurram district are continuing for the sixth day and despite the agreement to cease fire, the fierce firing contune during the clashes in different areas of Lower Kurram.
No firing took place after the ceasefire between Upper Karam village Bushehra and Malikhel. According to the latest information, heavy firing took place at 4 more places in Kurram district late at night.
The firing areas include Balish Khel, Khar Kali Sangina Pewar, Teri Mangal Zedan, Khumsa Muqbal and Kunj Alizai.
Hospital sources say that 8 more people were killed and 11 injured in fresh clashes in Balish Khel, after which a total of 43 people have been killed and 177 injured in Kurram district.
Due to the tense situation, the Parachinar Peshawar main highway is closed for all traffic.
Citizens are facing difficulties due to continuous clashes and road closures, while protests are also being held in different cities of the country including Peshawar and Islamabad.
