Ayatollah Ghulam Abbas Raisi, the eminent religious scholar of the subcontinent reached Skardu

Shiite News: Ayatollah Ghulam Abbas Raisi, the eminent religious scholar of the subcontinent, acting representative of the religious jurist in Pakistan and the head of Imam Khomeini’s religious authority, Ayatollah Ghulam Abbas Raisi, has reached Skardu after addressing the main ten Muharram al-Haram meetings in Gilgit.

He will address five mourning majlis in the Bargah and a one-day mourning majlis will be held in the central Jamia Masjid Skardu.

Baltistan’s well-known religious scholar and leader of the Islamic movement, Hujatul Islam wal Muslimin Syed Muhammad Abbas Rizvi, had a special meeting and expressed his happiness on his arrival in Baltistan.

Ayatollah Ghulam Abbas Raisi will also give a special address at the conference titled “Civilization and Culture of Gilgit-Baltistan in the context of the history of Karbala” organized by Anjuman-e-Talab Baltistan Islamabad and answer various questions of the youth after the conference.

It should be noted that this conference will be held on Sunday, 14th of Muharram at 10 am in Imam Khomeini Library, Gamba Skardu.

It should be noted that the said has gone to Gilgit-Baltistan after many years, but the educated people of the region are eager to gain more knowledge from his visit to Gilgit-Baltistan.
